What a Difference a Day Makes
News and updates from north of the border 🇨🇦 🥰 🗓️
Dear Beautiful Human,
A week ago I was perusing the garden store with my daughter and son-in-law, choosing a few plants for near the fence and wondering when this baby would ever come. At what point would they need to induce labor?? Sure, the due date was only one day past, but things just didn’t seem to be moving, you know?
Until the next day, things did. And fast. 👶🏽
Now they’re parents and I’m a grandma and the world has suddenly and forever shifted. 🌟 We’re all smitten around here, fed by the slow release of feel-good chemicals that baby holding stimulates. Seems I’ve discovered a healthy version of hoarding. 😉
I write this to let you know why I’ve gone a bit quiet in this space recently. I know you understand.
I’ll be back in Portland in another week or so, and due to Grammy scheduling, I’ve changed the date of this month’s Open Make to Saturday, May 23rd. I’ve also added more sessions through the summer, so click here to see what works for you.
Ok, gotta get back to snuggling the little bundle,
-Pam
P.S. Mothers Day greetings 💐 to all new moms, experienced moms, and folks of every age and gender who “mother” others, whether or not you bear the title of parent. May we honor the care work that underpins every functioning society, and lift up the care-givers. 💫🙏🏽

I’m thrilled for you Pam!!! Enjoy every minute!
Joyful news! Warm congrats to you and your family, Pam!
